Want a Tablet That’s More Like a Laptop? Try ZAGGfolio For iPad 2

It’s no secret that iPad users are frustrated with their beloved tablet’s touchscreen keyboard. Anyone looking for a multi-function case that includes a detachable Bluetooth keyboard will welcome the ZAGGfolio for iPad2.

The Zaggfolio is designed to be thin and durable. The outer case is surprisingly flexible, rather than rigid like a clamshell-style case. It is similar to an iDevice skin, but it covers both the iPad and the keyboard. There are, of course, openings to allow access to all of the iPad’s ports.

The keyboard includes island-style keys, so they mimic a standard computer keyboard. Shortcut keys are also included.

The case comes with a built-in stand that includes no moving parts, instead there is a slot on the keyboard where the iPad rests. The stand will hold the iPad in either portrait or landscape orientation, but it appears to use the iPad in portrait mode one would have to remove the outer case.

Because there is nothing to attach, it should be simple to install or remove the iPad from the Zaggfolio. This case could be a boon to users who want to occasional convenience of a laptop, but don’t want to compromise the iPad’s portability.

The Zaggfolio is available for purchase from the ZAGG website for $99.99. Shipping is free within the US to the lower 48 states.
