PDF Converter Transforms Your iPad Files into PDF Documents

As the iPad continues to gain momentum around the business world, several users will require a quick and easy way to save almost any content as a PDF file. I’ve seen quite a few people working and exchanging business or personal documents and files directly from their iPads. However, every so often, it might be useful to be able to convert certain documents to PDF directly from your iPad.

Readdle has released PDF Converter, a new iPad app that brings a lot of power to your iPad. How about converting documents into PDF files directly from your precious tablet?

Besides allowing me to convert documents to PDF so easily, the best feature from PDF Converter is that I can convert my files directly on my iPad without requiring an active Internet connection. It is quite simple. Once you install the app onto your iPad, PDF Converter automatically becomes available in the “Open In” menu supported by many iPad applications. This saves me a lot of time because it makes it possible to save almost any content as a PDF file.

Think of it for a second. PDF Converter basically allows you to convert multiple files into PDF format. You can convert web pages, photos, contacts, email attachments and more. I was able to open an email attachment from my iPad and convert it “on the fly” to PDF format. All you need to do is simply open the file via the “Open In…” menu, open it in PDF Converter, and the attachment will simply be converted to PDF format. Easy and simple!

In addition, you can also save web pages directly from Safari. You only need to use the prefix “pdf” before the URL to reload the web page in PDF Converter. PDF Converter also supports Microsoft Office and iWork document formats. So far, I can say the application preserves important details and formatting elements from my original documents. The quality of the PDF files is quite good.

PDF Converter is available now for $6.99. It is compatible with iOS 4.3 or later.
