Thomson Reuters released an iPad enhanced version of their Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Mobile app last week, giving attorneys even more opportunity to earn credits by taking courses from the most recognized names in the industry.
The app, working directly with West LegalEdcenter, allows users to edit and sync with their profiles in addition to accessing over 4,500 recognized courses featuring hot topics as well as core content from all areas of legal practice.
Key features of the app include the ability to interact with the course materials just as with their on demand programs, including performing tasks such as listening to audio content and participating in discussion forums.
By combining the intuitive iPad interface with extreme portability, attorneys are given the opportunity to stay current without sacrificing convenience.
West LegalEdcenter describe themselves as being the cost-effective source for online and in-person legal training and CLE. They currently offer over 7,000 online courses, assisting the professional development of law firms and legal departments.
The CLE Mobile iPad app is available from the App Store free of charge and gives you access to one free course in your My Programs. Additional courses can be downloaded from West LegalEdcenter. Prices for additional material start at a few dollars for basic courses like “Challenging Confessions in Juvenile Delinquency Cases,” which can be had for $25, and go up to $590 for meatier courses like “Basic Training for Litigators: Civil Procedure Before Trial 2010.”
