Up until Tuesday, the world record for fastest typing of the English alphabet on an iPad was clocked at 6.31 seconds by British-born Charlie McDonnell.
McDonnell’s short-lived place in history was crushed by the son of Georgian President, Mikheil Saakashvili.
The 15-year-old President’s son, Eduard, managed to type the entire English alphabet with just his right hand in 5.26 seconds. Fox news reported that an observer from The Guinness Book of World Records met with the record breaker former Soviet republic’s Black Sea resort of Batumi.
Along the same lines, Middle School student Grace Pak typed a prescribed 264-character text on a QWERTY mobile phone in 56.57 seconds in Pennsylvania less than a month ago (GuinnessBookofWorldRecords.com). The kids these days and their technology.
