JailbreakMe 3.0 – Hassle Free iPad 1 & 2 Jailbreak via Safari

Dev team member Comex just released the final version of its new jailbreak, JailbreakMe 3.0, compatible with first generation iPads running iOS 4.3 through 4.3.3, and iPad 2s running iOS 4.3.3. Just like the previous versions of the tool, Comex makes it easy to jailbreak iPads and iPhones, as users simply need to go to a website to jailbreak their device.
JailbreakMe 3.0 uses a PDF hack to gain access to the device, perform the jailbreak and install all the necessary tools, including Cydia. Before you rush off to the website, make sure to back up all of your data via iTunes in case the process fails – rest assured though, based on early feedback, and our own tests, the jailbreak seems to be stable.
Note that other devices are also supported:
- iPad1: 4.3 through 4.3.3
- iPad2: 4.3.3
- iPhone3GS: 4.3 through 4.3.3
- iPhone4: 4.3 through 4.3.3
- iPhone4-CDMA: 4.2.6 through 4.2.8
- iPod touch 3g: 4.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.3
- iPod touch 4g: 4.3 through 4.3.3
The updated jailbreak is completely hassle free, as all you need to do is to launch Safari, go to jailbreakme.com, launch the jailbreak from there, and that’s it.
Remember that jailbreaking your iPad is legal, as long as you do not download copyrighted content illegally. Also note that Apple considers jailbreaking a warranty-voiding act, so do it at your own risk.
