Aluminum Keyboard Buddy Case for iPad 2

There are plenty of keyboard options for your iPad in the market today. Some keyboards function both as a case and keyboard when paired via BlueTooth. Others provide enough padding to protect the iPad and facilitate a snug fit. Companies like Logitech, ZAGG, Apple and ClamCase have all released keyboard options for Apple’s tablet.

When looking for keyboards, most of the time comes down to how you feel using it. However, sometimes the looks can also become part of your decision.

MIC Gadget’s Aluminum Keyboard Buddy Case for iPad 2 seems like the perfect companion for your iPad. The new keyboard features an eye-catching design that not only offers your tablet durable protection and added functionality, but also a very stylish look.

The keyboard is made from aluminum with a high-grade finish. You can use the keyboard in multiple angles for viewing and typing in both portrait and landscape mode.

The keyboard also serves as a screen protector. When you place your iPad’s screen inside the keyboard case, magnets will automatically put your iPad to sleep. The keyboard also features its own lithium-polymer battery, which is rechargeable via USB.

If you’re looking for a keyboard compatible with your iPad 2, this aluminum keyboard will certainly disguise your iPad as a MacBook Air. You can order it via the MIC Gadget store for $50, which is a $20 saving compared to Apple’s standard Wireless Keyboard or iPad Keyboard Dock.

    WOW!

Your multiple angles comment is confusing. You can only put the iPad in portrait or landscape mode. There is no option to tilt the screen in a different angle sadly.

It is very stylish and well made….however, it does not lock your iPad like the Zagg and in portrait mode it is very unstable.  I would also state that multiple viewing angles is misleading as it is only has two and the keyboard decals are hard to see in lighted conditions.

I was going to buy this but when trying it out I found 1 big flaw, its lack of any form of lock when putting the Ipad back in the case. Meaning I have to hold it together manually or it falls apart! Quite a bother when on the road having to keep it from dropping on the ground.
I also agree with “Bigmopotz’s” comment on the instabillity.
