iKlip – Coming Soon for iPad 2

Great news for all you musicians out there – the iKlip from IK Multimedia, a universal microphone stand adapter that allows you to take your iPad and your favorite music apps on stage with you for live performances, is going to be released on the iPad 2 at the beginning of June.

The multi-angle lightweight iKlip iPad holder is great for any setting where you may use a microphone. Use it for score viewing during musical performances, to hold notes and materials during presentations or use it to display song lyrics for karaoke. There are tons of potential uses for this great new iPad device.

Made in Italy from high quality dense thermoplastic molded components, the iKlip is durable and secure even in the most demanding holding situations. It will stay clipped to your microphone stand, keeping your iPad safe and secure with sure-grip touch points that won’t scratch or mar your iPad. The iKlip is also lightweight, making it an ideal and stable option for almost all stand types.

The iKlip attaches to your iPad quickly with quick-snap clips, and installs to your microphone stand in seconds with just the twist of a knob. All controls, buttons, and connectors remain accessible, so it’s easy to use your iPad in any situation. The iPad can be oriented in portrait or landscape mode with a multi-mount design, and angled in any position for optimal viewing and usage.

Guitar players can use the iPad on stage with AmpliTube iRig as an amp and effects unit, vocalists can use it to create and share set lists complete with scoring, lyrics and notes with band members, and DJs can use it for sequencing or playing virtual instruments.

iKlip is currently available for the first generation iPad for $39.99. An iPad 2 version is slated for release on June 2, 2011.
