Manage Your iPad Photos and Videos with Eye-Fi’s Mobile X2 WiFi Card
Instantly uploading photos from your camera wherever you are to your iPad and iPhone is certainly a treat. That’s exactly what Eye-Fi, the company behind WiFi enabled SDHC memory cards, has done with its latest WiFi enabled memory card.
The new Mobile X2 wireless memory card allows you to automatically upload photos and videos to your iPad, iPhone and other devices, whether you’re at the beach or on travel. It even comes with an Endless Memory Mode that makes you never worry about running out of space again.
The 8GB Mobile X2 card can store up to 4,000 photos or 3 hours of video with top-notch Class 6 speed.
The Endless Memory Mode allows this card to free-up space for you after pictures are safely delivered to your iPad, iPhone or other devices. Eye-Fi has also incorporated a Direct Mode that allows the Mobile X2 establish a direct connection to your devices. In other words, if you’re not within WiFi range, the Eye-Fi card can create its own WiFi network so you can send JPEG photos and videos directly from your camera to your iPhone and iPad.
You can pre-order the Mobile X2 card via Amazon, Best Buy and will also be available at Apple stores starting on April 17. The Mobile X2 will be available for $79.99. Eye-Fi will also release a free iPad and iPhone application.
