Stores across the US are preparing for the launch of the iPad 2 on Friday, while consumers are busy deciding which configuration to purchase. Today we reported on several of the stores planning to sell the iPad 2 later this week and now there are reports that another retailer might be joining the ranks.
According to a post on Examiner.com, the Sam’s Club in La Habra, California will likely have the iPad 2 on store shelves this Friday. Apparently a manager at the club store told the LA Gadgets Examiner “he is 95 percent sure he will have it in on Friday morning.”
The iPad is currently available at Sam’s and has been since November and with Walmart expecting the iPad 2, it would stand to reason Sam’s might get them too. If Sam’s does get the iPad 2 on Friday, we would expect their prices to be a little lower than those of other retailers selling the device. Definitely a plus for many consumers.
What else makes a Sam’s iPad appealing? The 90 day no-questions-asked return policy. Simply show your receipt and you’ll be able to return the device with no problems.
If you’re planning to purchase an iPad 2 this Friday and have a Sam’s Club nearby, you might want to check out the club prices before you take the plunge.
