PhotoSync for iPad/iPhone – Transfer Your Photos and Videos Wirelessly

If you’re looking for an easy solution to wirelessly transfer photos and videos between computers and your iOS devices, you should checkout PhotoSync.

This new application will eliminate the need for you to plug-in your iOS device every time you need to sync media. In addition, it has no limitations on the number of files you can upload to the web for later access.

The nice thing about this application is that your media files (photos, video) can be transferred between your iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, iPod touch), or from iOS to your computer, or from your computer to iOS. You need to make sure your devices have Bluetooth enabled or are connected to the same WiFi network. The PhotoSync app will provide you with a list of devices available on your network.

PhotoSync also works with free companion desktop applications that are available for both Mac and PC. The companion apps can be used for the best transfer performance, which includes unlimited number of pages, background transfer and more.

The iOS app also comes with a nice web server feature that provides you with a web address for your photo galleries that will allow you to see your photos and videos via a web browser. This is a very handy feature because your iOS device becomes your remote photo gallery as long as you have access to a WiFi location.

We’ve used several applications to transfer files from our iOS devices. We’ve talked about how you can transfer photos between Aperture and the iPad with Pixelsync. We’ve also mentioned the quick and easy to use Photo Transfer application.

PhotoSync certainly offers a quick way to transfer media wirelessly, and I liked that it has no upload limit when transferring files. If you’re the type of user that constantly plugs in your iOS device with your computer to sync media files, then PhotoSync is a good option for you. The application is available now for $1.99.
