Let Kids Color on Your iPad with Crayola’s iMarker

Kids love the iPad and the App Store includes thousands of entertaining and educational apps for them to enjoy.  Among some of the most popular are the coloring and painting apps that allow kids to be creative and get in touch with their inner artist.  The new ColorStudio HD for iPad from Crayola and Griffin Technology is sure to spark their interest and get the creative juices flowing.

ColorStudio HD is an “entirely new digital play experience,” combining a drawing application with a kid-friendly stylus called the iMarker.  This new app and stylus will allow little artists to color and interact with a number of animated coloring book pages.  Scenes come to life with animation, music, sound and high quality special effects as kids color and play.

“Coloring as kids know it is about to come alive in an amazing new way through our partnership with Griffin Technology,” said Warren Schorr, Head of Crayola Licensing. “Imagine a coloring book that morphs and changes as kids digitally color it in. This application is taking a classic play pattern and bringing it totally outside the box.”

With more than 50 immersive game and activity pages, like Musical Dot 2 Dot and Color by Numbers, your young artist will be entertained for hours.  Share their artwork with friends and family by printing, emailing, or posting the it to Facebook. App updates will be available for download at regular intervals, “continually providing kids with fresh and exciting activities.”  ColorStudio HD for the iPad is expected to be released this Spring for $29.95
