Fisher Price Introduces Toddler Ready iPhone/iPod Case

If you’ve got a toddler at home, you probably sit in awe from time to time amazed at just how proficient your little genius is when it comes to technology.  I know quite a few toddlers who, after only a short period of instruction, are tapping and swiping their way through any number of the children’s apps now available in the App Store.  Now, with all these little kiddos using expensive gadgets like iPhones, iPods and iPads for education and entertainment, parents find themselves in need of rugged cases to protect them.

Fisher Price will showcase a new product at this year’s New York International Toy Fair that should help many parents with this very need.  The Laugh & Learn Baby iCan Play Case is a fun and colorful way to let toddlers enjoy their apps while also protecting the iPhone or iPod Touch from “dribbles and drool.”

“We know kids are the experts in play and we take pride in providing best-in-class products to further enhance their play experiences,” said David Allmark, Executive Vice President, Fisher- Price Brands. “With a fresh new collection of innovative toys and a new multi-media campaign launching later this year that celebrates developmental growth through the joy of play, we will continue to connect with families across the globe.”

Fisher Price is not new to the iDevice market.  There are currently several iPhone apps available for download in the App Store with three free downloadable Laugh & Learn apps coming soon.

According to Engadget, the Laugh & Learn Baby iCan Play Case will be available beginning this summer for $20.  It will hold any generation iPhone or iPod Touch and have a screen cover to protect the display too.

So, if you’re in need of a great kid-friendly case to protect your iPhone or iPod from the bumps and bruises of everyday use by your toddler, keep the Laugh & Learn Baby iCan Play Case in mind.  We’re hoping Fisher Price is successful with its new product and even decides to expand into the iPad market.  There are lots of little ones out there using iPads that need some protecting.

Great, but it doesn’t cover the dang home button! Kids keep pressing the home button and open all kinds of random apps.

BubCap home button covers seem to be what you’re looking for.
