Land Rover First Car to Include iPads as Standard Equipment

Luxury car maker Range Rover is upping its game with plans to debut a new limited-edition Land Rover at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.  The new Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition takes luxury to new levels and introduces several high-end touches catering to those looking for the finer things in life.

The hand-crafted Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition is the first car to include iPads as standard equipment.  The iPads are integrated into the front seat headrests giving rear seat passengers the ultimate in car entertainment experience.  The high-end interior also comes with a rear seat laptop table made from machined aluminum which nicely compliments your iPad or Apple MacBook computer.

While Range Rover’s new Land Rover may not be the first car to provide iPad support, it is the first car company to include two iPads as standard equipment.  BMW, Mercedes and Audi all introduced iPad support earlier last year and Korean car maker Hyundai even equipped their new Equus luxury sedan with an iPad owners manual.

Production of the Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate Edition will be llimited to 500 units and will be available in 20 global markets.  Range Rover plans to announce pricing later this year.  If you’re an iPad fan and have been shopping around for a new luxe car, this might be the set of wheels you’ve been looking for. But you might want to start saving, we’re betting this ride won’t come cheap.
