PhotoPal for iPad – Powerful Editing Tool On Sale (One More Day)

Throughout 2010 several companies launched many photography applications for the iPad and iPhone. Many of these apps let you apply special effects to photos, and also make it easy to share photos on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter.

Given that the iPad has become one of the most powerful tools in portable computing, photography will be one of the areas that will most benefit from it in 2011.

I have seen many folks constantly looking for ways to quickly adjust photos while on the go. That’s exactly what PhotoPal is targeting to simplify. The app has been designed to make it easy for you when editing and applying special effects to your photos. Better yet, this great photo editing app has a 4.5 star App Store rating and will remain on sale until tomorrow for $0.99 (previously $3.99). You should take advantage of this deal!

What I like about PhotoPal is that it includes most essential editing tools and photo effects, as well as a great user interface, trouble-free navigation, lots of customizing options and a great help section.

As you would expect from a photo editing tool, PhotoPal offers the basic editing tools, as crop, rotate, re-size, gamma, color and light adjustments. But, the app also offers enhanced red-eye removal and spot healing features. By simply tapping on a few app options you can easily get rid of “red eyes” or any unwanted dots on your pictures.

You can also adjust bright and dark levels by using the provided slider control. You can easily sharpen and remove grain from photos, and before and after images will provide great insight into how your changes are affecting your photos. Other great features include the ability to adjust photo temperature via a hot and cold slider. In addition, while you’re cropping a photo your resolution will display.

The developer has also included other features that allow you to apply 8 different effects on your photos. For example, you can apply special effects like vintage, vignettes, posterize and more to your photos. Most of the tools and effects can be adjusted with just a swipe of a finger. If you’re not happy with the result, the app allows you to use a multiple redo option, which brings you right back to the original shot.

Once you’ve created a great photo, you can save it on your iPad. If you want to share your latest creation, you can do so via Flickr, Twitter or Facebook from within the app. In addition, the app includes a feature called PhotoPal Docs, which allows you to save images to your computer if you have your iPad connected via USB. Of course, just in case you want to keep your iPad free of large files.

PhotoPal has been “beta tested” by over 100 iPad users from UK, USA, France, Germany and other countries. Their feedback was taken into consideration when developing this application to make sure the most solicited photo editing features would be included for the iPad.

PhotoPal is very easy to use, and provides a great interface to help you adjust your photos. A very good download for your iPad. It’s available now for $0.99. This special sale will end tomorrow (January 3rd, 2011). Hurry!
