Puzzld! for the iPad – Quick App Review
We’ve covered lots of iPad app bargains on PadGadget over the past few weeks and here’s another kids app to add to your collection. Puzzld! – Wood Puzzles, Beautifully Illustrated for your iPad developed by WindUp Rocket is designed with toddlers and preschoolers in mind.
Kids will enjoy the six beautifully illustrated “wooden” puzzles included in the Puzzld! app. Just tap any puzzle on the shelf without a lock and begin. Drag, twist, turn and drop pieces into place and unlock additional puzzles as you go.
The level of difficulty and sound are easily adjusted in Settings. Simply tap the settings icon at the bottom of the screen to change from easy to more difficult. The easy setting is intended for young children and displays each piece in the correct orientation. It prevents puzzle pieces from rotating as you move them into position or when tilt your iPad. The more difficult setting requires kids to get pieces into place by spinning and moving them using multiple touches, just like a real puzzle.
Puzzld! is a fun app with levels appropriate for toddlers and preschooler aged children. They’ll love the colorful illustrations and it’s easy enough for them to use alone or enjoy with Mom and Dad.
