‘Angry Birds’ Christmas Edition Update Confirmed

A few days ago, we wrote about the possibility of a new seasonal version of Angry Birds. We’ve found out that Rovio Mobile will indeed release a version of Angry Birds called Angry Birds Christmas.

In case you didn’t know or don’t remember, Rovio Mobile released a full Halloween version in October that instantly became a hit. However, the new Angry Birds Christmas version won’t be a full app release like the previous Halloween version. Rovio Mobile will offer the new Christmas version as a free update to the Halloween version of the game. In other words, if you downloaded the Angry Birds Halloween version, simply download the new update and get ready to enjoy a new “re-skin” version of the game for Free.

The Angry Birds Christmas app has been submitted to Apple for approval. Stay tuned. It should be available soon.

    Is this a free update to the $4.99 HD version or the $1.99 Halloween version? Seems like the millions of people who bought in early as getting the rough end of the deal if it really is an update to the Halloween one…
