Noodle Princess – Ridi Book for iPad

If multiple languages are spoken in your home or maybe you’re interested in your child learning another language, German developer Ridili has story apps that may be of interest to you.  Each interactive Ridi picture book lets kids watch, listen and play in four languages (German, English, Russian, Spanish).

Kids hear the story read by a native speaking professional audiobook narrator and then have time to discover different sound effects and hidden character/object movement.  All three stories are nicely illustrated and fun for kids to read and play.  Readers have the option to set different languages, as well as turn the narrator on and off in the app’s Settings.

Elliot and Rocco ($2.99) - Elliot the little dachshund discovers a big juicy bone only to have it taken away by the Rocco, the mean giant schnauzer.  Find out what greed gets you and who ends up with the bone in the end when you read this story about two dogs.

Noodle Princess ($2.99) - A fun story about a little girl who loved spaghetti.  Discover how she became the noodle princess and what she did to ensure she stayed in the Pasta Palace forever.

Paul’s Bread ($2.99) - Paul’s mother interrupts his dream and sends him to the bakery to buy bread.  He gets his baguette and a wonderful flying adventure too.

All four Ridi books are available on the App Store for the iPad now, with two more titles (The Cherry Tree and Elefant’s Backlight) coming soon.
