One Rainy Day – Toddler iPad App Goes on Sale
If you’ve got toddlers or preschoolers at home, chances are you’re often on the lookout for new things to keep them entertained. One Rainy Day from developer My Tales Digital is a cute interactive iPad and iPhone app little ones will love.
Not long ago I played with three lullaby apps created by My Tales Digital and really enjoyed them, so I was excited to take a look at One Rainy Day when it was released. Truthfully, I like this new app even better and I can’t wait to play it with my three year old niece!
The One Rainy Day app is wonderfully illustrated with the original paintings from the One Rainy Day tiger tales hardcover picture book, written by Tammi Salzano and illustrated by Hannah Wood. Youngsters will enjoy all the app’s activities with a whimsical little Duck and his rainy day play.
There’s nothing Duck loves more than a rainy day! When the rain comes, so do many of his favorite things. From red boots to black bugs, Duck discovers a rainbow of items in many different colors and has lots of fun in the process.
One Rainy Day offers three fun activities for kids:
- Reading – Enjoy the book with the “Read to me” or “Read by myself” options. Tap objects on each page and hear additional sound effects and extra dialogue from Duck.
- Coloring – Color on four different pages by selecting a color at the bottom of the screen and tapping parts of the picture you want to change.
- Playing – Learn colors, and reinforce what’s been learned, by dragging the correct items into position.
The interactive features and adorable little Duck in One Rainy Day will make this app a hit with toddlers. This weekend’s sale will make it a hit with parents! Starting at 12:00 AM EDT Friday and running through 11:59 PM EDT on Saturday, One Rainy Day will be available in the App Store at a discount. Download the iPad version for $1.99 and the iPhone for $0.99 and spend some quality time together with your little ones this weekend.
Note: My Tales Digital would like to hear what their users have to say, so don’t forget to leave your comments and suggestions in iTunes.
