Kensington Unveils New iPad Accessories

Well known accessory maker Kensington has released some new accessories for your iPad.

Kensington has launched the PowerBack Battery Case with Kickstand and Dock ($130). This is an all-in-one design that integrates battery charging, protective casing, three-position kickstand and dock abilities. The built-in charger provides up to five extra hours of power for iPad, while the simple slip-on case protects your iPad in a compact and easy to carry form factor for use in all environments. It also features an LED battery gauge, Micro USB charge and sync port, and built-in speaker deflectors.

The included PowerBack’s kickstand allows you to use your iPad in three convenient viewing modes: portrait mode for photo viewing and web browsing, landscape mode for video watching and gaming, and a typing mode which makes writing and emailing comfortable.

Other accessories launched by Kensington are the Wall Pack Duo Charger ($30) and a new PowerBolt Duo Car Charger ($30). Both offer the ability to charge two iPad, iPhone or iPod devices from a single wall or car outlet. The wall charger works at 2.1 Amps; the auto charger features one 2.1 Amp port and a single 1 Amp port for iPhones and iPods. A nice thing about the wall charger is the low-profile plug design, which prevents you from blocking other wall outlets. Both of these Kensington chargers include a detachable USB sync cable, and have LED power indicators. Both will also charge iPhone and iPod Touches running iOS 3.0 or later.

You can pre-order these new Kensington accessories via Amazon or Kensington’s website. All accessories are expected to ship before the holiday season.

Thanks for the heads up. Case, stand and charger in one is a great idea. Go Kensington.

Yes, this is a very innovative case. Can’t wait to see this in person. :)

I like the speaker deflector aspect of it. I’d like to see what a 360 view of this device looks like.
