SkyGrid for iPad Just Updated
A month ago, I wrote about a news reader app called SkyGrid. It’s an app that will help you aggregate real-time news and provide content in a very simple way.
I consider SkyGrid to be one of the top news readers in the App Store. Why? It’s very efficient and becomes quite handy for anyone that likes to be aware of what’s happening now in the world of news.
SkyGrid takes the latest news, blogs, tweets, Facebook and product reviews from lots of data sources. What makes this app very interesting and quite useful is that it pops out the best and most popular news out there in real-time onto your iPad and iPhone.
Skygrid’s latest update (v1.5) was released yesterday with some nice features.
- Besides faster article loading times, they’ve added two new sections to their application: Most Viewed and Team Favorites. Now you have the flexibility to filter news feeds and see what others have been searching for.
- You can still share articles via Twitter, Facebook, and email. But now, you can also share via a Copy Link feature that becomes handy for Instapaper fans.
- Alerts and Badge Notifications – The app comes with “New” badge alerts that will tell you when a news stream has been updated.
- A Share App feature allows you to share the app with your friends.
