PadGadget Creative Corner – iPad Music Video and Sketches
I really get a kick out of watching people use their iPads to produce cool and creative stuff. We’ve looked at several iPad artists and musicians over the past few months and based on reader feedback, we’ll be covering more creative users in our new recurring “PadGadget Creative Corner” series. To kick off the series, we’re featuring some great looking color landscape sketches and an iPad rendition of the Rocky classic “Eye of the Tiger.”
If you’re an iPad artist or have done something creative with the iPad, send us the details and we might feature you in a future PadGadget Creative Corner.
Photographer Jordan Hollander and musician Scott Harris put together a music video remix of Survivor’s Rocky III hit, “Eye of the Tiger.” All instruments were played on the iPad using apps available from the Apple App Store. The track has an edgy electronica vibe to it and it’s a nice tribute to the 1982 classic.
Next up in our Creative Corner are some great color landscape sketches from UK based artist Kyle Lambert. The sketches are of various scenes in Wales and were done on the iPad using Brushes. Each sketch took Lambert about 20 – 60 minutes to complete which is much shorter than his previous Toy Story 3 painting and Beyonce portrait.
