Battery Go! Plus Arrives as a Universal App

email

If you’re looking for ways to monitor your battery usage across all your iOS devices, there is an app on the App Store that might help. The app is called Battery Go! Plus.

Battery Go! Plus is a battery management application that will ask you several questions about your iOS device and usage habits. The new app is the successor to Battery Go!, which was developed by CollegeKidApp.com (9magnets, LLC) for the iPhone. Now, Battery Go! Plus can be used on your iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.

Battery Go! Plus comes with a new “Battery Health Manager” that should help you develop a special formula custom configured for your iOS device to help give the most accurate battery life figures. Keep in mind that all meters provided by this app are calculated estimates to give you a good idea on how to manage your device. The app uses an algorithm to estimate battery management by taking into consideration your device type, it’s age, your typical daily use, and screen brightness.

The app will provide you with many battery tips, which help teach you how to properly manage your device and get every last bit of juice left before your iPad or iPhone or iPod Touch needs a recharge. It basically allows you to see how much longer your device will last while playing video games, or using iBooks, YouTube, GPS functionality and more.

As for the user interface, the app comes with two UI themes, and comes with five color choices: red, orange, blue, purple, and green. The “Doodle” theme is not available yet on the iPad, but will be coming in a future update. Additional updates include more UI themes and more battery saving tips.

If you’re looking for battery management functionality to avoid being stranded on the side of the road, Battery Go! Plus may be a good option for you. Battery Go! Plus is a universal app designed for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch, and it’s available now in the App Store for $0.99.
