iDough – Sculpting App for iPad

If you’re a budding sculptor and are lucky enough to own an iPad, then there’s a new app with your name written all over it. CrateSoft has just released their new iPad 3D sculpting app, iDough.
The app brings old world hands-on sculpting to the digital age with the ability to “touch” the clay in 3D space all from your iPad . The app includes tools for you to move, push, pull, smooth, flatten and spread your artwork with a number of brushes. Moving around your sculpture in 3D space is made easy with separate camera zoom and angle controls. If you’re an error prone beginner, the app has you covered with 30 levels of undo.
Once you have completed your “Venus de Milo,” you can e-mail the sculpture as an OBJ file for further editing on a PC or Mac.
iDough is now available in the App Store for $4.99.
