Apple Release iPad Software Update

email

Earlier today, Apple released a new software update for both the WiFi and 3G models of the iPad.  The iOS 3.2.1 update for the iPad doesn’t provide any new features but does include several user requested bug fixes.

The fix that many iPad owners will be interested in is the improved WiFi connectivity. Other improvements include:

  • Fixed an issue that could prevent copy and paste of single-page PDF attachments in Mail
  • Addressed an issue that could cause video playback to freeze
  • Improved reliability of video-out when using iPad Dock Connector to VGA Adapter
  • Added Bing as an option for Safari’s search field

The update is available via iTunes.

Thanks for sharing the fixes even though they are just quick bug fixes. :)

I’m giving a big thumbs UP for the update for my iPad! My signal bars seem to be a little better, but the strength I’m getting from my Apple Extreme wireless base station is letting me get a little farther from it, and allowing the iPad to demonstrate a bit faster reaction when on the web.

If you have’t updated… don’t be afraid to do so. A very helpful update!

STILL DON’T WANT TO WAIT FOR iOS 4 UNTIL NOVEMBER! Hope it is EARLY fall, and not later in the fall!

Tried 8 times to upgrade to the latest version of iPAD but it errors out without finishing.
