Beyoncé on the iPad – More Brushes Magic

The iPad is a powerful and creative tool when put into the right hands.  We featured artist David Kassan and his amazing painting skills on PadGadget last week and this week we bring you English artist Kyle Lambert.

Lambert recently completed a six hour session where he created a photorealistic drawing of pop sensation Beyoncé.  The artist created the drawing on his iPad using the Brushes app while using only one finger to complete it.  Lambert says “my artwork combines traditional painting techniques with cutting edge technology to produce rich, realistic portraits and character based concepts and designs. The iPad expands the possibilities for artists like myself to take digital artwork creation away from the computer and out into the world.”

We’re sure there are many other great artists and musicians out there doing great things with the iPad and we look forward to seeing what the creative community does next with this magical device.
