OpenTable For iPad Just Released

email

OpenTable recently ported its reservation app to the iPad, and it rocks.

If you do not know what OpenTable is, the company offers a free online restaurant reservation service, in order to help you find an open table for your next night out. Each time you book a table through the website – and show up to the restaurant – OpenTable gives you points. If you accumulate enough points, OpenTable will give you a dining cheque for your next reservation, a nice touch, especially since the service is free.

OpenTable for iPad uses your location to give you suggestions, and also lets you search by city, neighborhood, restaurant name, price range, and cuisine type. The app even lets you browse the menus of most restaurants it features, and displays the reviews of other users, to help you find new hidden gems.

OpenTable for iPad works with most cities in the US, and features about 13,000 restaurants nationwide.
