Apple to Release Retail Store App for iOS?

Customers may soon get an Apple concierge app for iOS based iPhones and iPads. Based on several sources, MacRumors believes Apple plans to launch a new iOS app which gives customers access to the Apple online store and the ability to schedule Genius Bar appointments at a local Apple Retail store. The app is rumored to launch tomorrow.
Customers can currently shop Apple’s online store and book Genius Bar appointments using Safari on their iPhones and iPads but a dedicated app has been missing since the iPhone was launched in 2007. An iOS app would presumably provide a better navigation and purchasing experience for iPhone and iPad owners compared to the current web based environment.
UPDATE: Apple just released the new “Apple Store app”, which lets US customer purchase Apple products directly form their iPhone, iPod or iPad.
