White House is an iPad Shop
The iPad is the hot gadget for White House staff according to a recent article from The Washington Post. White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s team all have iPads or are in the progress of getting one of the hard to find gadgets. According to The Washinton Post, Emanuel, White House senior advisor David Axelrod, economic advisor Larry Summers and deputy press secretary Bill Burton already have iPads. Deputy press secretary Dan Pfeiffer and Ben Finkenbinder have their iPads on order so they’ll soon join the ranks of iPad toting White House staff.
The Washington Post asked which apps the staff had loaded on their iPads and as you might expect, news apps and books were top choices. When the staff isn’t reading Bloomberg or NPR, they also use their iPads for fun stuff like playing Scrabble or watching Lost and Major League Baseball.
We know politics can be a heated topic and not everyone may like the current administration but at least we can all agree that their taste in gadgets is good.
