Floating Memory HD for iPad – App Review

email

Imagine traditional Memory game cards lined up in rows and columns.  You flip two cards over and try to match pictures.  Now imagine those same cards as bubbles constantly moving around under the ocean.  Floating Memory HD for the iPad is a classic game with a fun underwater twist.

In this new game of memory, users try to match pictures of sea creatures as they float around on bubbles.  The game begins on level 1 with six bubbles.  Tap two bubbles and try to match the pictures.  If you are successful, the bubbles pop and disappear.  If not, the pictures disappear and you have to try again.  Match all the pictures and move on to the next level.  As you progress, the number of bubbles increases.  The more bubbles moving around the screen, the more difficult the game becomes.

Floating Memory continues for 7 levels and records your score as you go.  Users can choose between “Easy,” “So So” and “Hard” difficulty levels.  Compete again and again trying to beat your own top score. If you thought traditional memory can be a challenge on its own, take your game underwater for a brand new challenge.

What I liked: It keeps you on your toes!

What I didn’t like: Would like to see more levels and different sea creatures to keep the game challenging.

To buy or not to buy: If you have young children or you’re a Memory nut, then you might want to give Floating Memory HD a try.  For $1.99 its a fun game that will keep young children challenged.
