At PadGadget, we’re always looking for innovative new accessories for your iPad. The iPad was made for you to take everywhere you go. The comfort of your new pricey toy is extremely important, especially when you’re using it to read, write, watch a movie, play games or simply listen to music.

We decided to search for some of the most comfortable and innovative iPad stands. We wanted to highlight what we think are the Top 5 iPad stands for you. Without further ado, let’s kick it off!

Skadoosh Stand

This innovative stand is made by JaDu Industries. The Skadoosh stand is made of lightweight aluminum and can hold your iPad in either portrait or landscape modes. With the push of a button you can adjust the viewing angle and lock it in to make sure you get your iPad set at the angle you like.

To keep your iPad pristine, the stand has a plastic rocker to hold your iPad securely. The rockers accept bare iPads and can be interchanged to match select skins or cases. Your iPad will sit firmly in the rocker and even has a cut out for the dock connector and wire. The Skadoosh iPad stand weighs in at under a pound and fold up for easy transport.

JaDu Industries is targeting availability in May with a price right around $58.

You missed one. I bought the Griffin A- Frame (Griffintechnology) and am quite pleased with it.
I am able to dock my iPad with the Apple case still on. Check it out.

how can all 5 of them be a must buy? and it is a little suspicious when some of these models are not even available yet. it would have been nice to see some comparison of strengths and weaknesses against one another

Calling all of these “must buys” basically invalidates this entire article. How about actually comparing and “taking a stand” as you put it? Or are you suggesting the we buy all five?

I use my iPad for a digital sheet music display. This looks interesting for musicians (and I suppose for other areas looking for a non-tabletop stand).
