We're now using our iPad for bedtime reading . . . and my boys LOVE it!

Definitely believe this is the way of the future. Books are books . . . whether its in digital form or on paper. Despite growing up without remote controls for our television sets or using rotary telephones, we soon adapted to modern technology and those devices are a distant memory.

Kids today will eventually only know books through mediums like the iPad. I think its exciting all the possibilities. Imagine the library of books that one can possess, as well as all the educational and interactive components an e-book or app can offer.

I HAVE A 1 YEAR OLD AND I BOUGHT THESE BOOKS FOR HIM B/C I themed his room to Dr. Seuss. I read the LORAX to him even in the womb, so I was real happy picking these up! I really like it b/c of the auto read option. My son, Ronin loves it b/c when you press on the things on the screen it says what they are. These apps are awesome!

I have the Cat in the Hat on mine and the kid just loved the autoplay for this. On the other hand, who doesn't like a good puzzle game? If you have tried Tetris or Bejeweled, it might interest you to know that there is a better option for these - StarFaces - certainly one of the best iPad app. I had played this game on my iphone for a while and now I have it for ipad and its great! Love the photos option

I'm so tempted to get these for my toddler, but worried that he would just be too rough with my iPad. Got any recommendations for kid-tested cases??
