Some developers seem to forget the iPad also has the Safari browser and there are enough news sites out there for me to go out and pay to get news from a single source. The same content can be fetched on the Internet, in many cases faster. They may find that a sponsored approach generate more revenue when it comes down to it. The other publications seem to think they can get away with charging more for less just because it is in an electronic form.
