Ever wonder what it would be like to take your brand new iPad apart, piece by piece? Well the folks at TechRestore have saved you the trouble and have painstakingly ripped apart a new iPad to show you how everything fits together.
Based on early teardowns, analysts estimate the costs of the iPad components to be approximately $260 for the 16GB WiFi model. This is roughly half of what a new unit sells for at retail. If these numbers are accurate, Apple is making a nice profit on each iPad sold. Video teardown after the break.
