iPad A-Frame From Griffin Technology

Now that we’ve gotten our iPads and had a chance to use them for a while, we’re starting to think about cases, stands, keyboards and other items that might be nice accessories.  Here’s something neat, Griffin Technology has announced its A-Frame tabletop stand for the iPad.

This heavy aluminum stand has a soft silicone non-slip cradle that holds the iPad in two different positions.  The upright position allows users to watch videos, view pictures or even do some work with a wireless keyboard.  Ready to do a little surfing, gaming or reading?  Just flatten the stand and your iPad will sit at the perfect angle on your desktop to do all of those things.  Griffin’s A-Frame stand is designed to give you easy access to the dock connector for syncing and charging.  It also accommodates many of the flexible and hard iPad cases on the market today.

Griffin Technology has a few cases currently available and several other iPad related products coming soon.  You can pre-order this stand now for $49.99.

Do you have a favorite iPad accessory?  We’re always looking for great products, so please leave us a comment below.

I’m not sure I understand why they had to make the base of that thing so large and ugly. It’s not consistent with the beautiful looks of the iPad. Also – doesnt look very comfortable to type on… $50?? What were they thinking? Pass.

I’ve been waiting for a good landscape dock to come out. This one frankly isn’t bad, but too expensive.
