iPad Quick Tip
By Now that people are getting their iPads, we thought it would be good to start an iPad Quick Tips series to help users get the most out of their new gadget. We’ll post our tips on a regular basis so keep coming back to find out the latest tricks and tips.
Fast access to your favorite websites: You can create shortcuts to your favorite websites using the iPad’s Web clips feature. Web clips appear as icons on your iPad’s Home screen and you can rearrange them the same way you do other apps.
To add a web clip simply open the webpage you’d like to add, tap the “+” button located on the top of the Safari and then tap “Add to Home Screen” from the menu .
When you open a web clip, Safari automatically zooms and scrolls to the area of the webpage that was displayed when you saved the web clip. The displayed area is also used to create the icon for the web clip on your Home screen, unless the webpage comes with its own custom icon.
