Skadoosh Stands and Delivers

At PadGadget, we’re always looking for innovative new stuff for your iPad, so we were stoked when the guys at JaDu Industries dropped us a note to let us know about their upcoming Skadoosh iPad stand.  The stand is made of lightweight aluminum and can hold your iPad in either portrait or landscape modes.  With the push of a button you can adjust the viewing angle and lock it in to make sure you get your iPad set at the angle you like.

To keep your iPad pristine, the Skadoosh has a plastic rocker to hold your iPad securely in the stand. The rockers accept bare iPads and can be interchanged to match select skins or cases. The iPad sits firmly in the rocker and even has a cut out for the dock connector and wire. The Skadoosh iPad stand weighs in at under a pound and fold up for easy transport.

JaDu is targeting availability for May with a price right around $60.  We’re looking forward to a hands-on review of the Skadoosh iPad stand once they’re available.  We’ll let you know what we think.

    This stand looks Awesome!! Love how it matches the iPad and how it can fit in your backpack too.

    This is too cool! I love how it adjusts to any angle for optimum viewing and folds up for easy storage and transport. Looks very well made. Gotta have it!

    Looks great! Look forward to the full review.

    Looks really cool, but $60??!! I think I’ll be going to STAPLES first to see if any cheaper solutions are available. I’ve found LOTs of nice stands for my iPhone that were originally designed as buisness card holders. I suspect the iPad can fit in some office supplies as well.

    This is way nicer than that Griffin A stand… If it’s as functional as it looks, I’m all over it. Stands are hard to find. Tried for years to find a perfect stand for my Tablet PC. Manufacturers will come up with all kinds of stuff now for iPad – that kind of accessory support was never dreamed of since the Tablet market was so small.

    I have one of these stands and it is awesome. Very sturdy and love having my iPad firmly on my desktop while at work. Get one now, you won’t regret it!!

    The stand black pieces that hold the iPad look as if it will SCRATCH my beloved iPad. No thanks. Why do did you design such as this? Do you know how much we love our Apple products?

    Just to let you know how much I love my iPad. I have Zagg’s invisibleShield protecting the iPad. I put my iPad into a suave fabric bag and then put that into a carrying case that already has inner soft lining.

    Please go back and redesign.

      @JTT

      The black holding piece in my stand has what looks like two little non-scratching rubber pads that keep a firm grip on my iPad. I’ve used my stand for a couple weeks now and not a single scratch! Thanks, JaDu for a wonderful product!

    @JTT

    The Skadoosh’ rocker (The black piece) you speak of will not scratch the iPad in any way due to its plastic construction and is designed with no abrasive or sharp edges. As a result, it is absolutely safe for iPads and other tablets and will in no way damage our devices.

    No redesign is needed. I can’t think of a more perfect design than the Skadoosh.
