1Password for iPad app
If you’re anything like me, you’re probably juggling 30 or more account logins and passwords. Luckily, if you’re a Mac user you have access to great password apps like Agile Software’s 1Password. New iPad owners are also in luck. A few weeks back, Agile Software announced that they were bringing 1Password to the iPad this Spring. Agile recently provided a status update and judging from their new mock-ups, 1Password is going to look great..
This won’t simply be a port form their iPhone version. Agile is working to customize their upcoming iPad release to take advantage of the iPad’s form factor and capabilities. “We aren’t content to leave you with using that 2x button on our iPhone app. It’s an iPhone app! And while it is the Best 1Password iPhone App Ever (if we may so humbly say ourselves), the iPad is an entirely different beast, and we’re giving it the utmost attention it deserves.”
I’ve been using 1Password for years on the Mac and added it to my set of must-have iPhone apps last year. Being able to secure and sync my passwords across my iPad, iPhone and laptop is going to be great and something I’m looking forward to using from day one.
